Acceptable Use Policy

Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") governs your use of PeRP! (Personal ERP). By using our service, you agree to comply with this Policy. We reserve the right to update this Policy at any time.

Acceptable Uses

PeRP! is designed to help you organize your personal and professional life. You may use PeRP! to:

  • Manage personal information (contacts, tasks, notes, documents)
  • Organize teams, clubs, or businesses
  • Collaborate with others you invite to your organizational contexts
  • Store files and documents within the provided storage limits
  • Use all features as documented and intended

Prohibited Activities

You may NOT use PeRP! to:

Illegal or Harmful Content

  • Store, share, or distribute illegal content or information
  • Engage in any illegal activities or promote illegal behavior
  • Upload or share malware, viruses, or other malicious code
  • Store or distribute content depicting child exploitation or abuse

Harassment and Abuse

  • Harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse other users
  • Post hate speech, discriminatory content, or content promoting violence
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity or affiliations
  • Stalk or otherwise violate the privacy of others

Intellectual Property Violations

  • Upload content that infringes on others' copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property
  • Share pirated software, media, or other copyrighted materials without permission
  • Use PeRP! to facilitate copyright infringement

Spam and Commercial Abuse

  • Send unsolicited commercial messages or spam
  • Use PeRP! for pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing, or similar activities
  • Scrape or harvest user data without authorization

System Abuse

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service, servers, or networks
  • Circumvent security measures or authentication mechanisms
  • Use automated systems (bots, scripts) to access the service without permission
  • Exceed storage limits or abuse system resources

Content Guidelines

While your content in PeRP! is private by default, we expect all users to:

  • Respect others' privacy and confidentiality
  • Use appropriate language and maintain professional standards when collaborating
  • Only share content you have the right to share
  • Keep content within organizational contexts appropriate for all members

Storage Limits

Currently, individual file uploads are limited to 10MB. Total storage limits per context may be implemented in the future. We reserve the right to remove files that violate this Policy or consume excessive resources.

Enforcement

Violations of this Policy may result in:

  • Warning: First-time or minor violations may receive a warning
  • Content removal: We may remove content that violates this Policy
  • Account suspension: Temporary suspension of your account
  • Account termination: Permanent deletion of your account and data for serious or repeated violations
  • Legal action: We may report illegal activities to law enforcement

We reserve the right to take any action we deem appropriate, including immediate account termination without prior notice for serious violations.

If you become aware of any content or behavior that violates this Policy, please report it to us at:

  • Location/context where the violation occurred (if accessible to you)
  • Any supporting evidence or screenshots
  • Your contact information for follow-up

We will investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

Modifications to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a notice in the application. Your continued use of PeRP! after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
